Great Bar, Cocktails At Glow
One of the strengths of Glow is the bar -- from the long list of cocktails and spirits to the simple bar-food menu. It's trendy, well-thought-out and fun, starting with two pages of cocktails featuring the Frisco Sour, Nicky Finn and Cuba Libre, to name a few. In addition, the menu features an impressive list of whiskeys, tequilas, gins and vodkas. It's a great place for a spirit connoisseur.
It doesn't do the wine lover bad, either. The compact list is squeezed onto one page, but the selections are interesting and the layout is user-friendly, divided by weight and style. In whites, for instance, you'll find the light 1998 Adelsheim Pinot Gris ($28), the medium 1997 Grgich Hills Fume Blanc ($28)and the full-bodied 1993 Kalin Chardonnay ($55).
